GIMBHI‘s Q&A with TherapyStack’s Founder, Ella Kligman

Faraz Milani is the founder of TherapyStack, a bootstrapped company helping mental health professionals discover the best tools, jobs, and companies in mental health tech. Previously, he co-founded Heard, a venture-backed startup building financial infrastructure for private practice therapists. His experience at Heard , combined with a deep personal appreciation for therapy and a close connection to the therapist community through family and friends, inspired him to build something independent, sustainable, and focused on serving those who care for others.

What does TherapyStack do?

TherapyStack helps mental health professionals discover the best jobs, tools, and companies in mental health tech. We curate a living directory of startups hiring therapists and a vetted list of tools built to enhance their work, from AI note-taking to telehealth platforms. With demand for mental healthcare in the U.S. rising and a thriving startup ecosystem building solutions to meet it, we believe therapists need a trusted way to stay on top of the latest tools and find roles where they can help shape the future of mental health tech.

What is TherapyStack different from other software?

TherapyStack is the first job and tool board built specifically for the mental health space. Unlike broad platforms like LinkedIn or Indeed, we’re purpose-built for therapists, which means better filtering, more relevant discovery, and a community that truly cares about this work. We’re not just another job board or marketplace. We research every listing ourselves and curate with a therapist-first lens, whether someone is growing a private practice or exploring roles in mental health tech. For companies and toolmakers, this focus makes TherapyStack an ideal place to reach the right audience: mental health professionals who are tech-curious and actively looking for tools and opportunities that enhance their work.
